Church support

As a mission agency of the Anglican Church we are extremely grateful for the generous support we receive from congregations both in the UK and around the world.

Many seafarers face loneliness, danger and isolation from their loved ones for long periods of time. Your church can help us ensure we're there to offer emotional, spiritual and practical support, and that vital link to home, to every seafarer who needs us.

Whether raising awareness through a sermon, or taking part in a fundraising event for us, the church remains at the very heart of The Mission to Seafarers. Sea Sunday is our most well supported annual church event, but there is no reason why you can’t celebrate and remember the work of seafarers at any time of the year.

Become a vital link

You can also help us by becoming a parish link and promoting the work of the Mission to Seafarers in your local community and to your church. We will keep you up-to-date about our work and latest fundraising efforts throughout the year, and provide you with materials to help promote your congregation’s fundraising events.
